Notes
General
Build comes from "Slipix", a famous french streamer specialized in "troll builds".
How it works
General
You go Full Crit.
This build works best if enemy team has squishy champions. If you are against a lot off-tanks/bruisers, this might not be best build. You can make it work by:
You can get Lord Dominik's Regards early (#1-#3 item).
If they are stacking HP you can buy Blade of The Ruined King. It's gonna delay your 100% crit, but it's gonna counter them and give you sustained dmg.
Champion
Stack souls and get 100% crit to two tap squishes.
How to play
General
This build shines with 100% crit. You will instakill squishes. Until that, it might be challenging to 100-0 anyone. Look for opportunities to go in and score kills. Also focus on farming minions if possible (to scale faster).
Wait for your moment to go for a kill. You have a big burst thanks to Full Crit, but you are squishy.
Core items
Your core items: The Collector, Essence Reaver, Infinity Edge.
Usually, fourth crit item is Lord Dominik's Regard
You rush either The Collector or Essence Reaver.
The Collector is default option, most versatile.
Essence Reaver, when you can reliably use its proc.
Spectral Cutlass
Spectral Cutlass can be awesome item for this Full Crit build that lets you make plays, especially early and mid game.
You can get and stick with its subcomponent early - Lifeline. It has the same cooldown. You can test it, if it works against enemy team.
Spectral Cutlass might not be best late game item (depending on the enemy comp). You can sell it and get other item late game.
During game
Snowball / Mark is an essential cooldown for this build. Do not waste it or even wait to hit the enemy at point-blank range to ensure hit (so you follow them, if they Flash).
Enemy team might not check your items right away, you could use that for your advantage to nuke unsuspected enemy.
After they checked your items and noticed that you have damage and are squishy, they are going to target you in fights. Be careful, after early game probably you need to modify your playstyle and stay back and wait for a good moment to join fights.
Gameplay
If they have tons of CC, get Mercury's Treads, Edge of Night or even Mercurial Scimitar to counter that.
If you are not doing well, or an enemy team is slightly ahead, you can adapt and buy tank items. Worst case scenario, you can sell everything late game and 'respec' into full tank.
Champion
Prioritize stacking souls as much as possible (both from your Damnation (Passive) and for Dark Harvest) to maximize your one shot potential.
Reach 100% crit.
One shot squishes as Full Crit Thresh!
Tips and Tricks
Champion
General
Flash + Flay (E) is often better than Flash + Death Sentence (Q) - E first then land guaranteed Q as they try running away while slowed.
You are a CC machine and it is important that you coordinate CC with your team. Hook after ally CC for guaranteed hit, or save hook to extend their CC duration.
If you are playing against any Spell Shields, try getting rid of them before engaging. Either wait them out or fake your abilities, so they wasite it.
Death Sentence (Q)
Remember that if you reactivate your Death Sentence (Q), you commit to it, good or bad. Make sure it is worth it and it is not one way ticket.
Sometimes it is better to let your team collapse on the target or just leave it be - for poke and zoning.
You don't always want to reactivate Q immediately. If you wait for full duration, you will drag enemy a little bit closer. As well as you can chain it with Flay (E) for longer CC.
You can use Death Sentence (Q) to escape. Just Q to a minion or enemy champion that is far away.
Hook through dying minions - time your Q to pass through a minion as it dies to surprise enemies hiding behind wave.
Dark Passage (W)
You can fake lantern to help your allies or to play mind games. Throw Dark Passage (W) back without anyone to make enemies retreat thinking backup arrived
Flash while ally clicks Dark Passage (W) to pull them to your new location for extended range escapes, engages or some cool plays.
You can use Dark Passage (W) for scouting bushes.
Use lantern on souls to collect them safely from distance without face checking.
Flay (E)
Flay (E) cancels dashes and channels - keep it and time it to interrupt enemy jumps, channels etc.
Flay (E) backwards first to slow enemy, then follow with Q for near-guaranteed hook on slowed target.
Flay mid-air during Death Sentence (Q) dash - cast Flay (E) while flying to your hooked target for instant additional CC.
The Box (R)
The Box (R) is very versatile ability. You can use it both offensively and defensively.
You can use The Box (R) for disengage and stopping enemy team engages.
You can use The Box (R) for peeling from your allies. Enemy assassins going after your carries? Put The Box (R) down and watch them go around or thorough it, getting slowed in the process.
Offensively, The Box (R) can be used to trap enemies, cut off their escape, or initiate fights alongside your team.
Thresh Combos
Hook Flash Lantern combo - Death Sentence (Q) enemy, Flash toward tower/team, then Dark Passage (W) your ally in for extended engage range.
Riot
Communication is key when making use of Thresh's lantern. Let your teammates know how you like to use it.
Death Sentence and Flay can be combined in either cast order for powerful combinations.
Thresh can collect souls without needing to kill units himself. Planning your map position to be near the most deaths will help to maximize soul collection.
