How it works

General

  1. You play as a Mage that's not afraid to auto attack.
  2. You build AP and items that helps with your auto attacks: Nashor's Tooth and Lich Bane.
  3. You deal damage with both your abilities and auto attacks.

How to play

General

  1. Playing AP Yunara build, you should rush Nashor's Tooth first, then Lich Bane.
  2. You deal damage with both your abilities and auto attacks.
  3. Weave auto attacks between ability casts to maximize your Lich Bane procs.

Positioning

  1. Positioning is crucial.
  2. You need to know when to go in for auto attack.
  3. Somebody is going after you each fight? Always getting ulted by enemy assassins? Rush Zhonya's Hourglass.

Countering

  1. Adapt to an enemy team. Are they full of tanks, and they rush tons of Magic Resist? You rush Void Staff as #2 or #3 item to counter MR stacking. Their team has champs with lots of healing? Rush Oblivion Orb as #2 item (upgrade to Morellonomicon as 4th or 5th item).

Champion

  1. Malignance works with your Arc of Ruin (W Transcended) during Transcend One's Self (R), but it does not work with Cultivation of Spirit (Q).
  2. You can max Arc of Judgment | Arc of Ruin (W) or Cultivation of Spirit (Q).

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. Ultimate Ability Haste from items like Malignance or Experimental Hexplate lowers the cooldown of abilities used during Transcend One's Self (R), such as Arc of Ruin (W Transcended) and Untouchable Shadow (E Transcended).

Cultivation of Spirit (Q)

  1. Cultivation of Spirit (Q) resets auto attack.

Transcend One's Self (R)

  1. During your Transcend One's Self (R), your Untouchable Shadow (E Transcended) resets Yunara's basic attack timer.
  2. You can cast Arc of Ruin (W Transcended) during dash.
